From Odisha, Manoj Kumar Behera, Prasanna Kumar, P.K. Sahoo, and K. Ghanashyam Nayak were among the martyrs, while Hari Singh from Haryana also lost his life in the attack. Karnataka’s hero, Guru H., became a symbol of valor and selflessness.
Other states that suffered losses include Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu, where jawans Maneshwar Basumatari, Ashvini Kumar Kaushal, Vasantha Kumar V.V., and C. Sivachandran fell in the line of duty. N.K. Rawat from Uttarakhand also made the supreme sacrifice.
